Privacy Policy

• When you book a table online: your name, phone number, email address, the date, time, and party size, and any notes you add.
• When you call or email us: whatever you choose to share with us.

We don't use analytics or advertising trackers on this website. The only cookie we set ourselves is a sign-in cookie for our staff area. The Google Map on our Visit Us page is provided by Google, which may set its own cookies (see below).

We use your booking details to hold and manage your reservation, to email you a verification code and your booking confirmation, and, if needed, to contact you about your booking. We don't sell your information or use it for marketing.

We rely on a few trusted companies to run this website:

• Supabase stores reservation details.
• Brevo sends booking emails.
• Vercel hosts the website and processes technical data, such as IP addresses, to deliver pages and keep the site secure.
• Google Maps shows the map on our Visit Us page. Google may collect data when the map loads, under Google's Privacy Policy.

These providers may store or process data outside Canada, including in the United States.

Reservation details, along with any staff notes about them, are deleted automatically 12 months after the reservation date. Messages you send us are kept only as long as we need them to respond.

We use Google's official tools to manage GYUGYU's own Google Business Profile and Google Ads account, for example to read and reply to public reviews of our restaurant. Replies may be written with the help of AI tools.

Information we access through Google's tools is used only for these purposes, is never sold, and is handled in line with the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements.

You can ask us to show you, correct, or delete your reservation details, or ask any question about this policy, by emailing gyugyuhotpotgrill@outlook.com or calling (905) 472-8666.

If you're not satisfied with our response, you can contact the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.

If our practices change, we'll update this page. The date at the top shows when it was last updated.
